Large diameter HDPE pipe is where manufacturing capability shows. Our two largest lines run solid-wall PE100 to DN1600 with wall thickness control that holds ovality and eccentricity inside standard tolerance — critical when the pipe has to be butt-fused in the field with a machine that costs more per day than the pipe.

Because these sizes dominate freight cost, we plan loading with the customer before production: nesting smaller diameters inside larger, cutting to container-optimised lengths, or shipping in flat-rack and open-top configurations for the biggest sizes.

Frequently asked questions

How does large diameter pipe ship?
It depends on the size. To DN1200 we can usually nest smaller diameters inside larger ones and load standard containers. Above that, flat-rack or open-top is normal, and the loading plan is agreed before production because it changes the cut length. Freight often costs more than the pipe at these sizes, so we plan it first.
Why does ovality matter so much on big pipe?
Because field butt fusion needs the two ends to meet squarely. An out-of-round DN1400 end will not clamp true, and a fusion machine at that size costs more per day than the pipe it is joining. We hold ovality and eccentricity inside standard tolerance specifically so the joint goes right the first time.
Do you support installation on site?
We provide fusion procedure guidance and operator training, and can arrange a supervisor for the first joints on large-diameter work. We do not carry out installation ourselves — the contractor holds that scope and the liability with it.
