Fabrication

HDPE Fabrication Services

If you can draw it, we can fabricate it. Our fabrication shop turns pipe and sheet into the parts that are not in anyone's catalogue — manholes, tanks, spools, headers and one-off specials — with drawing approval, weld records and testing before anything is crated.

What moving work into the factory actually saves

Site fusion is the most expensive metre of pipe on any project. Machine hire, qualified operators, weather delays and inspection all bill by the day, and a joint made in a wet trench at dusk is the one that shows up in the leak report. Prefabricating spools moves that work into a covered shop where every weld is logged and every assembly is tested before it ships.

The trade-off is transport. A spool that is 12 m long and bent in two planes does not stack, so we break the isometric into transportable sections with the installer before cutting anything, mark each spool to the drawing, and crate them in installation sequence. On typical projects this cuts site fusion hours by 40–60% without adding a container.

  • Drawing approval before cutting — nothing goes to the saw on a verbal brief
  • Qualified welders working to written procedures, weld log kept per assembly
  • Break points for transport agreed with the installer, not decided for them
  • Crated in installation sequence so the crew unpacks what it needs next
  • Hydrostatic testing and third-party witnessing where the spec requires it

Frequently asked questions

What do you need to quote a custom fitting?
A DWG, a PDF, or a dimensioned sketch — a photograph of a hand drawing with the angles and sizes on it is enough to start. We return a fabrication drawing with materials, weld detail and the de-rated pressure class for your approval, and only cut once it comes back signed.
How long does fabrication take?
Simple mitred bends and reducers run 7 to 10 days. Manholes, manifolds and multi-spool assemblies run 15 to 20 days depending on complexity and how quickly the drawing is approved. Drawing approval is usually the longest step, not the welding.
Can you build to a customer's own brand?
Yes. A large share of our output ships under distributors' brands, with custom print legend, striping, labels, end caps and documentation issued in your template. We keep the tooling and process sheets so repeat orders come back identical.

Need a quote or a spec check?

Send us your drawing, tender document or bill of quantities. Our engineers reply within 12 working hours with pricing, lead time and a container loading plan.
